The story takes place in Neon City One - governed by OxyCorp - a MegaCorp with full control over the Niobium drug to combat the Corrosion - a plague released after the Chem War, 5 years ago. You play as a Black Agent (slang for Enforcer) Kobalt, who is betrayed and brought back to fight the very corporation he once served for.
