Gills Into the Hive is a cyberpunk science fiction novella set in a towering mega-slum on Hano Island. It follows Gills, an unmodified young man trying to survive in a society dominated by body augments, poverty, and a Matrix-like network called the Wire. Desperate for a way out, he’s drawn toward a dangerous job that promises escape, but also threatens to entangle him in a violent underworld of hackers, mercs, and buried secrets.
